Open Classroom #1: Searching for a New European Symbolism

– The Open Classroom is fully booked! –

This will be the first in a series of open classrooms hosted by the New Europeans project aimed at rethinking the symbols that represent Europe.

For our opening classroom we are very fortunate to have Dr Russell Foster from the European Studies department at the University of Amsterdam speaking. Russell’s work specifically centres on the symbols of Europe. Details of his work can be found here.

In addition, we will have New European Domenique Himmelsbach de Vries speaking about his work ‘Asielzoekers zijn okay‘ as well as plenty of time for a group discussion.

FREE ACCESS: Reservations required. The workshop will take place in one of our containers, as such there is limited space, so RSVP by contacting hello@neweuropeans.org with ‘Open Classroom’ in the title.

NOTE: unfortunately, we’re fully booked. Hope to see at another open classroom!
