Open call for video submissions

Get your video message across to the EU officials!

You may have noticed the big screen outside The Wall, at our work site on Kattenburgerstraat 5, but that is not what we are talking about here. There are two more screens – smaller and with no audio – placed behind The Wall and inside the meeting room where press and EU officials meet. They are always on, the video loop runs continuously in the background as the higher-ups wait for their next appointment.

eu2016 - 2

For the past two months, we have been curating the content shown on these screens and we would now like to share the privilege with you. Send us your videos, video messages or image slideshows and we will include them in our curated video loop. Think of this as your opportunity to get a message across to the people who are deciding the future of Europe. Your video may also end up being displayed on both our Vimeo account and our website.

The material you submit does not have to be overtly political; it should be related to European issues as well as meaningful to you and your peers. Feel free to consult the New Europeans handbook, it might prove useful when contemplating a theme to work with.

Please send your submissions via WeTransfer to hello@neweuropeans.org. Please state your full name and ‘Video Submission’ in the WeTransfer message. The supported format is mp4, ratio 16:9.

Pass this along to friends, artists, video-makers, film-makers and other interested parties.
