The End of New Europeans

There’s no alternative, you’re coming! Join us for our final exhibition and the closing event of New Europeans at The Wall. After half a year of hard work along the Kattenburgerstraat rubbing shoulders with the EU officials, we are happy to present you the projects we have put our thoughts, sweat and tears into.

Take a 600-meter stroll and enjoy the fruits of our labour. Sacrifice your goats and demands to Goddess Europa, enter the Hut of European Identity, take a moment to watch our collected stories on European souvenirs, or discuss the projects while sitting in the ArenaCake. Artists are present!

14.00 Performance: A European House at the Hut of European Identity
A live radio drama, adapted from a short story by Talje Robinson. Sound by Kosmische Riviera.

15.00 End of Fanon at the Arena Cake
A performance based on Franz Fanon’s book Black Skin, White Masks.

16.00 Applying Magick at the Goddess Europa
Ritual sigil workshop and revitalizing performance on the sacrificial grounds.

17.00 Talk: Tibor Bijl (In Limbo Embassy) at the Pigeon Mailbox
A short presentation of In Limbo Embassy and our collaborative project.

17.30 European Citizen Popsong
Belgian singer-songwriter Marieke Dermul wants to create a European Citizen Popsong with which to unite her fellow Europeans.
